Setting Gold Standards
Yinspiration was set up in 2012 by founder Jo Phee. The school started its first training with the offering of the world’s first Yin Yoga and Chinese Medicine teacher training. The training was conducted in cooperation with the ex–Vice Principal of the Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
In 2013, Yinspiration became the first yin yoga school in the world to offer a full time residential 200 hours Yin Yoga Teacher Training program. Since, this training has been offered annually in Bali and hundreds of yoga teachers from all over the world have graduated from the program.
Yinspiration’s training curriculum is rigorous yet comprehensive. It is the first in the yin community to develop a modular certification system, which culminates into a full 300hrs Yoga Alliance Advanced certification. Yinspiration is currently the only yin yoga school in the world to offer a 1000 hours Diploma in Yin Yoga.

Yinspiration sets the gold standards in yin yoga education as the first yin yoga school to introduce guasha, cupping, acupressure, moxibustion and myofascial release in its yin yoga teacher training programs worldwide.
At Yinspiration, trainings are meticulously developed to equip its teachers with the highest level of knowledge and credentials by fostering relationships with top industry leaders, scientists and researchers from varying fields and engaging them to conduct trainings to its graduates.

Yinspiration aims to inspire its teachers through social work and involvement with charitable organisations to expand the study of Karma Yoga.
The Yinspiration curriculum continues to serve as the blueprint training for many yin trainers around the world.
